At the Danish Costal Radio, Lyngby Radio

Posted by
Henrik Herskind (Copenhagen, Denmark) on 24 September 2010 in Business & Industry.

Lyngby Radio surveille every ship in Danish waters, always ready to help if you get into trouble. But it is normally just something in the air. Here I had the fortune of visiting the physical place. Please note the stand next to the rightmost screen. It has blinking lights in different colors, when something happens.
Picture taken with Nokia 6220, edited in Lightroom.

Nice to meet everybody here on Am3. I always welcome your comments & critiques. :o)

@KIJI: Well, it might look as a very easygoing job. The thing is that when something really happens at sea, then these people do a great job coordinating everything.
